This policy explains what personal information Vape London collects when you use vape.london, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It also explains the cookies and similar technologies the site uses.

What we collect and why
When you place an order
- What: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the items you order and your order history.
- Why: to take payment, check you are 18 or over, deliver your order, send order emails and handle returns or queries.
- Legal basis: performance of our contract with you, and our legal obligation to sell nicotine products only to adults.
Age verification
Every order is age verified before it is dispatched. We share your name, email address, phone number and address with our age verification provider, VerifyMyAge, which checks them against its own and third-party data sources. If an automatic check isn't possible, VerifyMyAge will ask you to complete a check directly with them, under their own privacy policy. We only receive the result (passed or failed). Legal basis: legal obligation.
Payments
Payments are processed by Viva Wallet. Your card details are entered on Viva Wallet's secure payment page and are never stored on our servers. We receive confirmation of the payment and a transaction reference. A card payment is only authorised at checkout and is captured once your age check is passed; if the check fails or isn't completed, the authorisation is cancelled and you are not charged.
Newsletter and offers
If you sign up in the footer or tick the box at checkout, we use your email address to send you news and offers. Legal basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use what you send to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering customer enquiries.
Website analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, so we can improve it. See Cookies below.
Who we share it with
- Viva Wallet: payment processing.
- VerifyMyAge: age verification.
- Our warehouse and delivery partners (DPD and Royal Mail): your name, address and phone number, to deliver your order.
- Amazon Web Services (London, UK): hosting of the website and its database.
- Cloudflare: website security and delivery.
- Google Workspace: sending order and service emails.
- Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they are bound by safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
- Order, payment and age-check records: 6 years after the order, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
- Emails you send us: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site stores a small amount of information in your browser. Some of it is strictly necessary for the shop to work, so it is always on. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Children
Our products are for adults aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and every order is age verified.
